MEDICARD GO! Availment Options!

 For laboratory tests, obtain an LOA first; for emergencies, proceed to the nearest hospital and report within the required timeframe. 

Availment Options:

  • Outpatient Consultation/Laboratory:
    • Via App/Web: Use the MediCard GO app to request an LOA for lab tests or check clinic availability.
    • At Accredited Clinics: Go to a MediCard Free-Standing Clinic (FSC), present your ID, and get a consultation form.
    • At Accredited Hospitals: Visit the HMO concierge/coordinator to get a consultation form.
  • Emergency Cases:
    • Proceed to the nearest hospital. If non-accredited, reimbursement is possible for up to 80% of the cost (subject to limits).
    • Report to MediCard to secure coverage, especially if the emergency results in confinement.
  • Dental Benefits:
    • Schedule an appointment through the MediCard GO app, phone, or email.
    • Present your ID and appointment code at the clinic.
  • Hospitalization:
    • Proceed to the admitting section with a referral and LOA. No deposit is required for approved admissions in accredited hospitals. 

Required Documents:

  • Valid MediCard ID (Physical or eMediCard).
  • Valid Government ID.
  • Doctor's Request/Laboratory Order (if applicable).
